I have recently been getting to grips with Claro Read Pro, a piece of assistive technology that reads out text. Find out how I got on in the video below.

One of the common challenges of learning with dyslexia is comfortably reading. Given that most learning activities rely on the student to read content in books, on websites and various worksheets it is no surprise that a dyslexic learner may experience anxiety with reading or at the very least struggle with processing the information that they need to be able to learn and take part in exams.

Followers of this blog will know that I am a huge advocate for assistive technology and I was thrilled that Claro Software, a UK assitive technology developer provided me with a free copy of their latest software Claro Read Pro version 9.

The following video is a very quick ‘hands on’ review of the software but I hope that it will give you a sense of how it works and certainly an insight into the user interface which is so important from a subjective perspective.
