Raising the Volume: What’s Next for Studying with Dyslexia Blog 💭

Dyslexia Awareness Week is upon us, and this year’s campaign from the British Dyslexia Association Raising the Volume Feels especially powerful. It’s all about ensuring that young people are heard, recognised, and celebrated for their success and understanding.

Over the years, Studying with Dyslexia Blog has worked hard to raise awareness and understanding around dyslexia and the wider neurodiverse community. Together, we’ve shared stories, inspired conversations, and built a sense of belonging. But now, it’s time to create something lasting — a community, an understanding, a movement 💪 that truly continues the mission of supporting every one of us.

We know:
✨ There are teachers who want to support their pupils but they need the right training and funding.
✨ There are parents fighting every day for their children whether they are dyslexic or have another form of neurodiversity.
✨ There are workplaces making progress but still needing the resources to truly understand and include.
✨ And there are adults who continue to struggle daily because the system failed to recognise their needs.

Dyslexia isn’t just about reading, spelling, or writing. It’s about the way we think, see the world, and understand it differently. That difference is a strength 💡 but it sometimes takes courage and resilience to turn it into one.

With over 3,000 followers, this community has grown into something special. And now, we’re ready for the next step. Over the coming month, we’ll be evolving — moving to a new domain name and a new identity. Don’t worry, all the content, the history, and the legacy of Studying with Dyslexia Blog will remain available. But we’re preparing for an exciting new chapter that reflects the future of this community.

We want to hear from you your stories, your insights, and your experiences. 🗣️
Engagement and communication are key. Be part of the conversation, support others in the comments, share our posts, and help us keep the message alive.

Driving this next stage forward is so important. I want to continue writing, sharing tools, and sparking discussions that matter, building a real community of interest and understanding.

So, the big question is…
What’s next for Studying with Dyslexia Blog?
I have a plan, and I truly hope you’ll stay with me on this journey. Together, we can keep raising the volume and empowering neurodiversity. 💙
