In this latest webinar from The Bell House, parents asked their questions about dyslexia and self-esteem. So with my parenting coach hat on I set about answering those excellent questions.

In the video below, I answer questions about how to view dyslexia positively, dyslexic super powers, confidence, overwhelm and how to handle defence mechanisms.

Some of the questions included:

  • “How do we turn dyslexia into a positive?”

  • “What to say when he says ‘I can’t do that I am dyslexic!’”

  • “Can the dyslexic super power of extreme emotional intelligence and perception contribute to feelings of anxiety?”

  • “Is there anyway I can help my 11 year old to tune in rather than be distracted during lessons?”

The Bell House is a wonderful education charity based in Dulwich in London and they provide a range of excellent dyslexia focused webinars and you can find out more about these by clicking here.

Now for the webinar!
